At Spa 1001 Almere, the saltwater swimming pool is a perfect addition to your spa visit. It is a wonderfully spacious pool measuring 3 by 6 meters with a depth of 1.40 meters (4 feet 7 inches) and has a temperature around 28 degrees. Swimming alone provides good exercise for medical reasons or for relaxation, without putting too much strain on the muscles and joints. For back and neck complaints or knee injuries, swimming is often recommended by physiotherapists and is therefore also a common rehabilitation method. Our swimming pool also has a saltwater cleaning system and is therefore extremely effective in combating algae and bacteria. This system also acts as a water filter, making the pool water softer and better for the respiratory tract, skin, muscles and joints.
